Who is responsible
Ian Cormier operates Safelist.Gold and is responsible for the personal information processed to run this service. For privacy requests, email mail@safelist.gold. We may ask for reasonable proof that a request concerns your own account.
Information we collect
We collect account names, email addresses, password hashes, email verification and consent records, support messages, campaign content and destination URLs, referral attribution, membership and purchase records, service-credit balances, advertising activity, and accounting history. If you use affiliate payouts, we store your selected payout provider, destination email or Cash App cashtag, verification status, and payment records. Security and delivery systems may record IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, failed requests, and message delivery or suppression events.
Why we use information
We use this information to create and protect accounts, provide campaigns and placements, measure and account for service delivery, manage purchases and referrals, respond to support, prevent fraud and abuse, meet legal obligations, and maintain financial records. Where applicable, processing relies on performance of our agreement with you, consent for optional advertising and launch emails, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and legal obligations. You may withdraw optional email consent without closing your account.
Email choices and tracking
Member advertising emails are optional. Use the unsubscribe link or account email preferences to stop them. Essential account, security, and purchase messages may still be sent. Launch notifications use a separate opt-in and confirmation process. Delivery records and authenticated mail-read or advertising-view activity support delivery reporting, service-credit awards, and abuse prevention. A tracking record is not proof that a person read or acted on an advertisement.
Cookies and referrals
We use essential session and security cookies for sign-in and request protection. A signed referral cookie attributes a qualifying referral to the first valid referrer, normally for 30 days. It is used for referral accounting rather than sold for third-party advertising. Blocking cookies may prevent sign-in or referral attribution. Payment, security, and CAPTCHA providers may use their own cookies under their policies when those services are used.
Service providers and disclosures
Hosting, email delivery, payment processing, payout, and security providers receive information needed for their functions. Our card checkout integration uses Stripe; when available, card details are entered on Stripe-hosted pages and are handled by Stripe. Safelist.Gold does not store full payment card numbers or security codes. We retain payment references and status for accounting and support. CAPTCHA protection, where enabled, uses Google reCAPTCHA. Manual affiliate payments use the selected Wise, Skrill, or Cash App destination. We may disclose information to comply with law or protect users and the service. We do not sell or rent member email lists to advertisers; advertisers submit content for distribution through our system.
Advertising destinations and international processing
Advertisements can link to third-party sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and a visit may disclose your IP address, browser details, and information you choose to provide to them. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where legally required, appropriate contractual or other safeguards apply to international transfers.
Retention and security
We keep account and service records while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal and accounting duties. After closure, we remove or anonymize information that no longer serves those purposes. Financial, fraud, consent, and suppression records may need longer retention, and backups expire through their normal replacement cycle. Minimal suppression information may be retained to honor an unsubscribe request. We use password hashing, access controls, and HTTPS; no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Contact us to request access, correction, an export, deletion, or account closure, or to object to or restrict processing where applicable. Rights depend on your location and may be subject to legal exceptions. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any information we must retain. You may also complain to the privacy regulator with authority in your jurisdiction. The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children.
